About Viv
A physician’s perspective on AI accountability
Viv Babber MD is a physician executive and AI governance strategist with more than 20 years of leadership experience. She holds the IAPP Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) credential and has training in ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management Systems and Lead Auditing. Her work helps leaders examine how AI influences judgment, where responsibility can become unclear and what meaningful human oversight requires.
Her speaking connects AI governance with the human decisions it is intended to support. She adapts the discussion to each audience, using healthcare as one example of the complex environments in which professional judgment, organizational responsibility and AI recommendations meet.
